Valentine’s Day, the day of lovers!! It is popular to give flowers, candies, and other gifts, as well as have dinner dates for this holiday. Every year, billions of dollars are spent in showing significant others how much they are loved through gift giving. This year let’s make it different.
Let’s make it different by loving on ourselves and our businesses this year. Holidays are a great time to save money on the offerings other businesses. The sale prices increase revenue and as well as save the customers money, everyone loves that!
Here are 3 ways to invest and/or increase revenue on Valentine’s Day week:
- Invest In Knowledge. When you take the time to learn more about your craft, that added knowledge adds to the value you can give to your clients. Whether it be professional continuing education credits or webinars, courses, or classes to work in your business (servicing clients) or on your business better (the way you run your business). Love your craft!
- Invest In Tools. There are tools that we use every day in our businesses. If they are physical tools, then they can sometimes need replacing. Be sure that all the physical tools you have are in tip top condition. If not, figure out which ones need to be replaced. If they are virtual tools, look at how you run your business and determine if you need to upgrade the tools you have or if it is time to add to your virtual arsenal to grow and scale. Examples of this can be an email marketing system. If the account plan that you have only allows for 100 emails on your list, then being close to 100 means it’s time to upgrade your account plan. Should you have an email marketing systems that only collects emails and you are to add automation functionality to your system, then it may be time to add another system that includes automation. Entrepreneurship can be hard, so investing in something that is needed or makes things easier is of great help. Love the business you have.
- Invest In A Promotion. Do a deal that enhances your customer base. Deals! Deals! Deals! Give a discounted rate on a product or service to help your clients increase their savings and help you to increase your revenue. Giving a client more value than they would get on a regular day of doing business with you is the name of the game. For example, you can bring the cost down on one item OR you can bundle items for a lower price than if they were purchased together. You can even turn a low priced product into a freebie bonus that can be received with the purchase of a high priced item at regular price. Saving your clients money to get more sales… that’s helping your business to grow and what’s not to love about that?
Now that you know different ways to add love to your business during the Valentine’s Day holiday, pick one or more and implement them. Which way will work best for your business?
